Values Education Good Practice Schools Projects
Two rounds of school cluster projects for Values Education were funded by the Australian Government since the release of the National Framework for Values Education in Australian Schools in 2005. In Values Education Good Practice Schools Project – Stages 1 and 2, clusters of schools from around Australia were selected to design, implement and evaluate quality projects in values education which would reflect and utilise the National Framework in local contexts. The projects, managed by Curriculum Corporation, focused on using action research to develop good practice methodologies to encourage improved values education practice for all Australian schools.

Values Education Good Practice Schools Project–Stage 1 projects have now been completed. A list of the 26 successful clusters and a brief description of each project is available on the website.
Three National Briefing Sessions were held for the Values Education Good Practice Schools - Stage 1.
The Final Report of Stage 1 ‘Implementing the National Framework for Values Education in Australian Schools: Report of the Values Education Good Practice Schools Project – Stage 1: Final Report September 2006’, with an executive summary, is also available on the website.

Values for Australian Schooling Newsletter includes news for the clusters participating in the Values Education Good Practice Schools Project - Stages 1 and 2, news from the state and territories, snapshots from around the country and much more. The newsletter is sent as a hard copy to all schools around Australia.
