Western Australia

Senior Colleges and Senior Campuses and Alternative Programs

Diverse education programs provided for re-entry/"second chance" students in a "university style" environment in senior colleges and senior campuses. As well, a range of programs are provided for young people who, for one reason or another, are unable to engage in education in a school setting.

Target group: Yr 8 - 12+

Coverage: Rural and metropolitan

Competitively Allocated Training (CAT)

Through its youth at risk stream, the program provides support for vocational education and training (VET) providers to implement upper secondary education and VET programs.

Target group: Youth at risk

The New Apprenticeships Access Programme (NAAP)

The NAAP program provides job seekers who experience barriers to skilled employment, with pre-vocational training, support and assistance to obtain and maintain a New Apprenticeship.
