Maths300 Membership

Joining Maths300 using any option below involves a first year cost to establish membership and a small, on-going annual fee. You will need to budget for this annual fee. In the same sense as a learner driver needs to have the process modelled and also needs an opportunity to apply the model for themselves, You can choose to join: The Free Sample Tour link offers two complete lessons, including software, totally free so you can try before you decide.

Costs

Maths300 offers a campus licence. Members may use any of its material on any number of computers on the one physical campus. One access code (username and password) is issued for each member. Staff from a member campus may access Maths300 from their home computer with this access code.

Campus population over 50 students:

  • First Year: $495 (Australian dollars)
  • Annual renewal: $180 (Australian dollars)

Campus population 50 students or under:

  • First Year: $123.75 (Australian dollars)
  • Annual renewal: $90 (Australian dollars)

Starting Maths300

Why would I choose this option?
Because I want full access to the entire Maths300 site now and a CD-ROM of the first 50 lessons so I will have no on-line access problems from my local system when I begin to use my new resources.
This option is full membership plus the CD-ROM.
Starting Maths300 & Tasks
Why would I choose this option?
Because I want to begin building a Working Mathematically curriculum. In such a curriculum whole class investigations from Maths300 model how to work like a mathematician, and hands-on problem solving tasks invite students to apply the model for themselves.
This option is full membership plus the CD-ROM plus tasks. This is a discounted package offering 31 tasks for the price of 28.
Maths With Attitude
Why would I choose this option?
Because I want to begin building my Working Mathematically curriculum at particular year levels and in particular strands. Each MWA kit offers a week by week planner for integrating tasks and investigations in this way. The manual includes opportunity for self-directed professional development.
Each Maths With Attitude kit includes:
  • 20 tasks specific to a year level and curriculum strand
  • CD-ROM of lessons extracted from Maths300 specific to the same year level and curriculum strand
  • manual including week by week planner and other support for integrating tasks and lessons.
Kits are only available to Maths300 members. However, Maths300 membership can be included with the purchase of your first kit.
Working Mathematically Curriculum Pack
Why would I choose this option?
Because I want to introduce a Working Mathematically curriculum in a large scale, sustained way taking advantage of the discounted professional development and Maths300 membership, and broad resource base available in this pack.
This option includes a professional development day, first year Maths300 membership, 4 Maths With Attitude kits of your choice and several other resources. It is only available as an option when joining Maths300.
