Six language curricula added to Australian Curriculum

ACARA has made six language curricula available on the Australian Curriculum website for Foundation – Year 10. The languages are Arabic, German, Korean, Modern Greek, Spanish, and Vietnamese, with the Japanese curriculum to be made available in the near future. See ACARA Update extra March 2015.

New videos illustrate management of Australian Curriculum in primary schools

A series of 20 videos, illustrating the management of the Australian Curriculum within primary schools, have been released on the Australian Curriculum website. The 20 primary schools in the videos represent government, Catholic and independent school sectors across Australia. These schools are from metropolitan, rural and remote areas and range in size from 130 to over 700 students. See ACARA Update extra March 2015.

Different views on Reading Recovery program
