ACARA discusses value of Latin in the Australian Curriculum
The Australian Curriculum, Assessment and Reporting Authority (ACARA) has discussed the value of offering Latin as a language option in the Australian Curriculum, in a statement 'Latin: a choice amongst many' on the home page of its website, 20 June 2014. The statement responded to criticism of the inclusion of Latin raised in an article in the Courier Mail earlier the same day.
