Teaching Australia
This week
Curriculum Leadership publishes the current strategic plan of Teaching Australia, the national body for the teaching profession. The plan outlines proposals for the development of standards for advanced teaching and for school leadership, and also for a national system for accreditation of pre-service teacher education programs. The plan supports national professional development activities for teachers, and describes the commitment of Teaching Australia to advocate for the profession and to promote teaching as a career.
