In 2007/08, Curriculum Corporation developed Your Money $tarter - Insurance and Super: a financial literacy resource for secondary schools. This award winning interactive financial literacy resource for students in Years 9-12 was developed for the Australian Securities & Investments Commission (ASIC).
Your Money $tarter helps students make sense of the key areas of superannuation and insurance. It is mapped to State and Territory and National Consumer and Financial Literacy Frameworks. The resource includes two teaching and learning units for middle secondary years and three investigations for senior secondary years, and is supported by reproducible student worksheets and a comprehensive series of fact sheets as well as two interactive multimedia resources that are presented through fun, animated narration, demonstration and interactivity.
