Curriculum Corporation is governed by a board of representatives of all Australian Education Ministers, along with representatives of the New Zealand Ministry of Education, the Catholic and independent education sectors, and peak bodies representing parents and teachers. It has extensive networks within education; with teachers, schools, administrators and key stakeholders.
Since its inception, Curriculum Corporation has worked to progress the Ministers' national goals and priorities in education, its work program putting Curriculum Corporation at the centre of national collaborative curriculum development, and focusing on:
- responsive project management and delivery;
- innovative use of information and communication technologies;
- evidenced-based development of innovative products and services; and
- efficiency and good governance.
