- Project manage the development and trialling of the Digital Literacy Curriculum Support Tool
- Collaborate with the originating primary school (Pleasant St PS in Ballarat) on the development and production of the tool's teaching and learning resources and activities
- Provide curriculum expertise and advice on linking resources and activities to VELS
- Negotiate and establish the formative evaluation of the project
- Provide copyright and IP advice on the use of various media in the development of the tool's resources.
This project is being conducted through 2009 and 2010, and Curriculum Corporation (CC) is project managing the development of a tool delivering on-line information and activities to support knowledge and understanding of Digital Literacy in the Middle Years. Activities will be linked to a set of Core Understandings that have been identified for Digital Literacy in the Middle Years. CC is working closely with Pleasant Street Primary School staff to develop the content for the web site. Approximately 50 activities will be developed, each having a digital resource, teacher view and students view.
