Taking Action

Prepare a plan for the commemoration of one national day that you feel would be an improvement on the current version. The improvements could relate to safety issues, the inclusion of more people in the community or to activities which you feel would be a better indication of what the day should mean to Australians. Your plan could be in the form of a letter, news article, chart or computer presentation and could be sent to your school principal, local council or Member of Parliament.
