Lesson Topic: How are rights protected?

Lesson’s overall aim:

Students explore what is meant by the term ‘rights’. They develop an understanding about why rights are important and consider what might happen if these rights were removed. Finally, students explore the people and institutions (governments and courts) protect rights.
