Aim of the unit

This lesson develops strategies and skills needed to: 

  • identify unsafe situations and offer possible solutions
  • identify unsafe and/or uncared for places and suggest a possible plan of action for making a place safe and cared for.

Student learning outcomes

  • Evaluate social behaviours in a setting outside a school.
  • Recognise responsible actions and personal safety issues in public places.
  • Identify positive ideas where people work together to solve problems.
